Dr. Gonzalez is a podiatric surgeon trained in all aspects of foot and ankle care, including: Running and Sports-related injuries, Bunions, Heel Pain, Orthotics and Ingrown Toenails.
He exhausts conservative care before performing surgical correction.
Although he was trained in all aspects of reconstructive foot & ankle surgery at a Level-I trauma center in downtown Chicago and is Board Certified in Foot Surgery, he still enjoys the basics of podiatry, both conservative and surgical, including bunion & hammertoe surgery and diabetic foot care. He also enjoys the challenges of treating foot problems in runners.
Aside from the practice of podiatry, He is privileged to be able to give back to the medical community through education. He frequently has medical residents rotating through the office, and he occasionally has the opportunity to lecture at various medical conferences and at the Medical Schools at Michigan State University.
